Spa and Hot Tub Cleaning

Body fats, oils, grime, organic matter, urine, sweat and dead skin are just some of the compounds found in the pipe work of spas and hot tubs. Along with a vast array of bacteria these compounds can result in serious health hazards if not properly treated.

Early signs of trouble in your spa and hot tub would be the appearance of murky water returns from the jets, constant build up of scum around the surface and excess foaming.

The Lo-Chlor range of Spa & Hot Tub cleaners supplied by BRM Poolcare in Blackpool will help restore your spa and once again create a safe environment for you to enjoy your hot tub. For more information click here.

Great Ideas for Improving your Pool: Part 4

Improving your pool Part 4 introduces automatic pool cleaners. They offer the most efficient and cost-effective method for achieving a consistently clean pool. Unlike pressure and suction pool cleaners, which depend on an external pump and filter, robotic pool cleaners get their power from a standard outlet and have their own pool filtration system. Moving freely around the pool, these robots remove debris and dust from the water while scrubbing the pool floor, walls and waterline with an advanced pool brushing system. https://www.brmpoolcare.co.uk/?page_id=19

We’re There To Help Again

Our engineers have saved the day at the leisure club at the Cliffs Hotel, Blackpool. A call came in to say that a pump had exploded and there was water all over the plant room floor. Quick thinking staff did everything they could and switched everything off, before our boys arrived.

They found the pool pump had split in half meaning no filtration of the pool water. This is really bad timing as the hotel is gearing up for a busy Easter period starting this Friday.

A replacement pump was ordered but unfortunately it wouldn’t arrive until the next week.  Not having the pool running over the weekend would be unthinkable for the hotel and very disappointing for the many hotel guests.

As a temporary solution a smaller less powerful pump was taken from the spa jets and fitted to the pool system enabling both the pool and spa to fully function.

We hope all of the hotel guests enjoy the swimming pool and have a great stay in Blackpool.
